About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN L&D Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: Labor and delivery experience Recovery experience Immediate newborn care experience Ability to scrub C-sections Description: This position is for a Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery. The role will encompass labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate newborn care. Candidates must have experience in circulating C-sections. Documentation will be completed using Meditech and CPN. The unit consists of 4 labor delivery rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1 for pitocin induction and 2:1 for other cases. No floating to other units will be required. Candidates should possess experience with patient-centered care methodologies, including bedside shift reports. Dress code requirements will include facility-provided scrubs. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited. Attendance policies will be clearly outlined and must be adhered to.
