Travel for this role is 70-75%.Primary Responsibilities:Technical SupportSetup, support, and conduct O-Arm Intraoperative Imaging clinical evaluations and on-site installations with surgeons and potential customersWork with hospital Physicists when testing O-arm for acceptanceTroubleshoot system hardware and software to maximize system performanceMaintain tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibratedFollow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, including completing all necessary Regulatory formsIdentify and escalate quality improvementsCustomer SupportProvide telephone clinical support to customersUpdate customer database for products installed, serial numbers, and surgeons trained, site specific information, open issues, following up on part returns and all open callsNotify sales representatives concerning site issues for follow-upAttend customer meetings, shows, and conventions to provide technical supportFollow and adhere to MDT policies in regard to Travel and Entertainment expensesEducational SupportEducate and train hospital personnel, including radiology, OR staff, and physiciansServe as technical resource for surgeons, clinicians and others being trainedPartner with other MDT business representatives, mainly CST, to drive equipment utilizationOther duties as assigned/requested by managementRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceCurrent RT Certification (ARRT)Preferred Qualifications:Prior technical service, support or training experience, OR experienceKnowledge of the OR environment and working around sterile fieldsKnowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is importantSolid aptitude for using mechanical and electronic devicesExperience in conflict managementProficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office suiteFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
