Press Brake Operator

We are currently hiring Brake Press Operator for a premier facility in Shawnee, KS. salary: $17 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Independently set up, calibrate, and safely operate manufacturing machinery, specifically die-cutting production presses.
• In-Process Quality Inspection: Conduct continuous visual inspections of finished products during the production cycle to maintain strict quality control standards.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a 100% commitment to all workplace safety policies, procedures, and hazard-prevention protocols.
• Process Improvement: Actively evaluate production workflows and make proactive recommendations to management for product and process optimizations.
• Inventory Management: Assist the warehouse and production teams with routine physical inventory counts and stock tracking.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members in a professional, cooperative environment to meet daily production quotas.
• General Operations: Perform additional operational and housekeeping duties as assigned by management to keep the production area running efficiently.

The essential functions of this role include:
