Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse for a facility in Plattsburgh, New York. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on the medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/21/2026 and is expected to last between 13 to 16 weeks, offering a night shift schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year experience, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, CMSRN certification preferred, NIHSS will be required prior to starting, Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable, NY license or proof of application with applied date required in packet at time of submission. Please note NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks and start dates/offers will consider this timeline.
• Preferred Qualifications: CMSRN certification, Epic experience within the past 2 years
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: IVS to OFFER, shifts available from Monday to Sunday, no block schedules for any reason, bi-weekly orientations on Monday, all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, complete work history including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., is required in the submission. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area, and vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November to April.
