Your Role as Assistant General Manager

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager and local ownership to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop employees, and deliver an outstanding Dairy Queen experience.

You'll play a key role in helping the restaurant achieve its operational, financial, and customer service goals.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop restaurant employees and Shift Leaders.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Help create a positive, professional, and respectful work environment where employees can succeed.
• Identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership positions.
• Support employee performance evaluations

Qualification Standards

• One to three years of management in a high volume restaurant preferred, QSR experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Qualified candidates must have excellent customer service and employee relation skills.
• Must be detail oriented with the capability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.
• Interact with the public and co-workers constantly during shifts.
• Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges.
• Capability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to50 pounds.
• Must have excellent customer service skills, exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness.

Compensation details: 18-22 Hourly Wage
