Senior Water Resource Engineer
A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Water Resource Engineer to lead transportation and infrastructure projects across North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Lead the hydraulic engineering team and manage project workload.
- Drive business development and build client relationships.
- Oversee HEC-RAS modeling, drainage design, stormwater management, and erosion control.
- Manage FEMA submittals, including CLOMRs and LOMRs.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
- Mentor staff and provide technical leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- PE license in NC (or ability to obtain quickly).
- 10+ years of hydraulic and drainage design experience.
- Strong knowledge of HEC-RAS, FEMA requirements, and NCDOT standards.
- Proven experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
