# Special Event ParamedicHLA Indianapolis - Indianapolis, IN 46226## Description### **Job Summary:**We are seeking experienced and dependable **Paramedics** to provide high-quality medical care at **special events** throughout Indiana. This is a **PRN (as-needed)** position ideal for EMS professionals looking for flexible work opportunities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Events may include concerts, sporting events, festivals, fairs, and private gatherings, etc.**PRN Position**: Hours will vary depending on event schedules and your availability---### **Key Responsibilities:*** Provide **emergency medical care** and **basic/advanced life support** according to Indiana EMS protocols.* Assess patients and determine appropriate treatment in various event environments.* Monitor and manage patients until care is transferred to an ambulance crew or higher-level facility, if needed.* Work closely with EMTs, event staff, security, and venue personnel to ensure safety and efficient response.* Maintain clear, accurate documentation of all patient encounters and interventions.* Ensure equipment, supplies, and medical kits are stocked, clean, and ready for deployment.* Represent the EMS agency with professionalism and excellent customer service.## Qualifications### **Qualifications:*** **Current Indiana Paramedic certification** (required)* **BLS, ACLS, and PALS** certifications (required)* **Minimum of 1 year** of field experience (preferred)* Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Reliable transportation to and from event locations* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed* Work environments will vary (indoor/outdoor, large crowds, varying weather conditions) #J-18808-Ljbffr
