• Schedule: 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown ICU setting.
• Monitor and record routine vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
• Interpret data from specialized medical equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform titration of drug dosages as required.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments based on patient condition changes and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Report any deterioration in patient condition to physicians and follow prescribed interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, files, and medical records.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff within the unit.
• Educate patients and their families about treatments, procedures, and care plans.

Requirements

• Experience: PCU / ICU (Stepdown) experience required
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Preferred Certification: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• First-time travelers are welcome
