Diverse Staffing is hiring Quality Inspectors to support manufacturing facilities throughout the Greensburg, Indiana area. This position is ideal for individuals who have strong attention to detail, enjoy hands-on work, and want to gain valuable quality inspection experience in manufacturing environments.

This role requires reliable transportation and flexibility to work at multiple manufacturing locations as assigned. Successful employees are dependable, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining product quality standards.

Job Duties

• Perform visual inspections of parts, assemblies, and finished products
• Identify defects, damage, contamination, or non-conforming materials
• Use inspection tools including calipers, gauges, measuring devices, and templates
• Sort, contain, and document defective products according to quality procedures
• Follow established inspection standards, work instructions, and quality requirements
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production personnel
• Follow Stop-Call-Wait procedures when quality issues are discovered

Must-Have Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to multiple manufacturing facilities as assigned
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to read, count, and follow written instructions
• Ability to work the scheduled 2nd shift hours
• Safety-toe shoes required
• Ability to stand and work throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection experience
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Experience using calipers, gauges, micrometers, or measuring devices
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Warehouse or assembly experience
• Experience working in industrial environments

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production facilities throughout the Greensburg area
• Fast-paced production environments with quality and productivity expectations
• Continuous standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
• Moderate to high industrial noise levels
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment and moving production lines
• Frequent repetitive hand movements and visual inspections
• Required PPE including safety glasses, safety-toe footwear, hearing protection, and other equipment as assigned
• Work assignments may change between manufacturing locations based on customer needs

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Bend, reach, squat, and move frequently throughout the shift
• Use hands continuously to inspect, sort, and handle materials
• Maintain concentration and attention to detail for extended periods
• Work safely around manufacturing equipment and production operations
