HOUSEKEEPER

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor and/or Executive Director and/or Head Housekeeper FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position Overview The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is performing duties associated keeping areas of the property clean. In this role, the individual should maintain a positive rapport with co-workers, residents and provide a high level of detailed follow-up with the Executive Director. The Housekeeper position should display a proactive, positive attitude and perform all job functions as described below. Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities Cleaning and vacuuming the clubhouse(s), offices, guardhouse, apartments and common areas, such as laundry rooms, restrooms and hallways. Cleaning windows on inside of building. Climbing stairs or working from a small ladder Using various cleaning supplies. Cleaning walls, baseboards, cabinets, windows, vents, appliances, bathrooms, flooring and light panels. Checking for damaged appliances and fixtures. Setting up models with soft goods and checking on their lighting and presentation Maintaining housekeeping equipment Rotating on-call weekends for cleaning clubhouses, laundry rooms and guests suites as needed. Laundering the seasonal and model linens. Operation of golf cart around the property. Stock toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and gym wipes in all restrooms and fitness centers. Following safe workplace rules and practices in order to prevent on-the-job injuries. Knowledge, Skill And Abilities Ability to communicate with others in a clear and effective manner and to follow directions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors. Ability to apply sound decision-making Ability to demonstrate teamwork by assisting co-workers Ability to communicate professionally and adapt interpersonal skills to a variety of audiences Must have reliable transportation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to: Stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle, feel or grip, and reach with hands and arms while performing standard duties. Frequently required to climb stairs, walk, talk, hear, and drive a golf cart while on the property. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Frequently use common office equipment, telephone, computer, keyboard, mouse, two-way radio, and variety of different keys. Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, etc. while in the process of doing duties. Position Specifics & Benefits Full-time position; Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 96 hours PTO accrued each year for first two years of service 136 hours of PTO each year after two years and above 176 hours of PTO accrued each year after 7 years of service 401K with 3% Employer Contribution Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance available after 30-day waiting period Good background required 90-day probationary period
