Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals delivering high-quality care. You will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with a compassionate team, and provide peace of mind to patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each procedure, explaining the process with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently, reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Document procedures carefully and keep patient records up to date in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
