Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Social Worker license in Michigan
• Strong understanding of school-based social work practices
• Previous experience working with diverse student populations preferred
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide effective crisis intervention and support
• Capacity to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group counseling sessions to students in need
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student well-being
• Develop and implement intervention plans to address academic, behavioral, or personal challenges
• Support the district’s mission through proactive advocacy and crisis response
• Contribute to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) teams and meetings
