You work independently on most assignments and collaborate with senior engineers when specialized expertise is required. Your technical skills, attention to safety, and commitment to guest service help ensure a well-maintained, efficient, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culturePerform general maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry workOperate and monitor boilers, chillers, air compressors, and related mechanical systems under minimal supervision or in coordination with senior engineersConduct routine inspections of key operational areas (e.g., central plant, refrigeration, elevators, lighting, restrooms, exhaust fans, mechanical/electrical rooms), reporting irregularities and assisting with necessary repairsRespond to guest room service calls and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and professionallyEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering, building maintenance, or a related fieldAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong mechanical and analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentRequirements:This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuanaAt least 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements:Regularly push/pull up to 80 lbsRegularly lift and/or carry up to 80 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twistFrequently standing and walking throughout the propertyAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityAbility to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, and rampsWork Environment Potential Conditions:Indoor and OutdoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme HeightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes, and/or gasesThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
