Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Dev/Research Engineer 3 with strong hands-on mechanical engineering experience to support the research, design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with engineering and shop personnel, performing data and failure analysis, reading engineering drawings and schematics, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical systems and components. Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and technical documentation to determine project feasibility, cost, and timelines. Investigate equipment failures and operational issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and support maintenance teams in diagnosing mechanical and equipment-related issues. Assist with the development and modification of product designs using CAD and other engineering tools. Create and interpret engineering sketches, drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and failure analysis to support product and process improvements. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, shop personnel, and other cross-functional teams. Support mechanical testing, design activities, and troubleshooting as required. Maintain organized technical documentation and communicate engineering findings clearly through written and verbal communication. Required Skills Strong hands-on mechanical engineering experience. Experience with data analysis and failure analysis . Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics . Experience with CAD or other engineering software . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with engineers and shop personnel. Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach. Preferred Skills Experience with hydraulic systems . Experience with mechanical testing. Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or heavy-equipment environment. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline . 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience preferred. Candidates with a Master's degree may be considered with approximately 3 years of relevant experience . Internship experience may be considered as part of the overall experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
