High school diploma or equivalent preferred. REPORTS TO: Building Principal ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervises students during lunch and/or recess periods. Ensures that students maintain order during lunch and/or recess. Monitors student behavior supporting a positive school environment. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with students, parents, and other employees. Requires daily attendance to best meet students’ needs. VOCATIONAL PREPARATION (Experience and Basic Requirements): Experience working in some capacity with children; preferably in a school setting. EDUCATION PREPARATION (Formal and Informal): High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
