At Open Door Community Health Centers, we provide every patient with compassionate, whole-person care through our Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy services across California's North Coast. We are looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our integrated care team at McKinleyville CHC, in McKinleyville, California.

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant assesses and evaluates the health care needs of patients, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, institutes and manages care for patients, and performs related work as assigned.
McKinleyville, CA
Located in one of the largest communities in Humboldt County, McKinleyville offers a unique blend of rural and residential living with close proximity to coastal bluffs, the Mad River, and outdoor recreation. With strong community engagement and easy access to regional travel through the nearby airport, this site offers providers the opportunity to practice collaborative, relationship-centered care within a team-based model while serving a diverse and underserved population. Providers build meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients, supporting continuity and access to care across the community.
Education & Experience
Diploma from an accredited program with credentialing through the American Nurses Association or Physician Assistant Association
Required Licensure & Certifications
Prior to employment, candidates must possess:
- Current, unrestricted California license
- Current DEA registration
- Current Board Certification in specialty of practice (or board eligible if a newer graduate)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record
