Physician - Nephrologist - Full Time Academic

Position Overview Ochsner LSU Health System-Monroe Medical Center and LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport seek a Fellowship-Trained Nephrologist to add to the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine. Must be eligible for active Louisiana licensure and BC/BE. This position would be for an Assistant or Associate Position located in Monroe, LA. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, critical care nephrology, glomerulonephritis and vasculitis, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, renal complications of systemic cancer (and its treatment), renal and non-renal transplants, dialysis access. Collaborate with a collegiate and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to customize plans of care. Combine teaching and patient care, emphasizing learning and providing vital leadership and guidance to medical students, residents and fellows. Maintain engagement in a high-volume clinical environment. Qualifications Fellowship-Trained Nephrologist. Eligible for active Louisiana licensure. Board Certified or Board Eligible in nephrology.
