Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – OR / GI

Location

Scranton, Pennsylvania

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts, Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | On-call required | Holidays required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in an OR/GI setting, including circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
• Follow floating requirements to other units as needed per facility policy
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including holiday coverage as assigned
• Utilize facility EMR system (Cerner) to document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to fulfill on-call and holiday requirements as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OR or GI environment
• Comfort with floating to other units within a large inpatient facility
