About the Position This position is located at Martin Army Community Hospital; within Directorate of Executive Quality Management at Fort Benning, Ga Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Who May Apply US Citizens This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience that includes knowledge and understanding of healthcare risk-management functions; experience interpreting multiple levels of interrelated legislative, regulatory, and policy guidance; knowledge of healthcare risk-management case files and the ability to identify healthcare providers with paid malpractice claims; and application of quality-assurance methodologies within medical-facility services. This specialized experience is typically equivalent to work performed at the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal service. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
