Job Description

West is a high volume facility and requires an experienced technologist who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The site utilizes Canon CT scanners, so prior experience with Canon equipment is preferred.

Core Responsibilities

Scan Execution: Calibrate and operate CT equipment according to established imaging protocols and physician instructions.
Patient Care: Explain procedures, verify medical histories, and screen for surgical implants or contrast allergies.
Safety Protocols: Follow strict ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
Image Management: Review scans for technical clarity and completeness before submitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily machine warm-ups, calibrations, and report any maintenance needs
