Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Perform installation, repair, and rebuilding of manufacturing equipment, including presses, mills, lathes, saws, benders, extruders, pneumatics, gear boxes, motors, and welding equipment. You will also be responsible for piping repairs to equipment used for water, air, gas, steam, hydraulic, and oil lines. The role involves mechanical work (50%), preventative maintenance (30%), and minor electrical maintenance (20%).

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and rebuild manufacturing equipment.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and gear boxes.
• Conduct piping repairs for water, air, gas, steam, hydraulic, and oil lines.
• Replace electric motors and conduct minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment.

Essential Skills

• 2-4 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and gear boxes.
• Minor electrical troubleshooting and replacement of parts.
• High School diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Formal certifications, schooling, or additional training are a plus.
• Journeyman level candidates will be strongly considered.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing environment with both new and old equipment. The environment can be hotter in the summers. Shifts are available on the 2nd shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm, Monday to Friday) and 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am, Sunday to Thursday). Enjoy two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, IN.

The pay range for this position is $61880.00 - $66560.00/yr.
