FULL TIME Radiology Tech in Radiology Department Purpose Performs patient services using imaging modalities, performs radiographic procedures, applies principles of radiation protection, and evaluates radiographs for technical quality. Qualifications Valid license from Louisiana Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners. Competency in components of radiography practice is appropriate. Ability to tolerate great number of phone interruptions throughout workday. Current CPR certification. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Possesses positive customer service skills. Working Conditions Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 30% of the day. Employee will be sitting 5% of the day. Employee will be standing and walking 50% of the day. Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 5% of the day. Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
