TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: Meditech experience, 5+ years experience, at least 1 travel assignment Description: Position requires adherence to a 75-mile radius rule. The driver's license address must be included in the submission for consideration. Travelers must have TNCC certification. The facility includes a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel. The emergency room sees approximately 180-200 patient visits per day. Ratios are 1 nurse to 4 patients. Emergency Medical Records are managed through Meditech 6.15. Charge nurse and nursing aides/paramedics are present, with 5-6 staff per shift. Security and patient sitters are available, holding patients in the main emergency room until admitted. Weekend work is required every other weekend, and holiday coverage is required every other year. Common patient diagnoses range from pediatric to geriatric, including trauma and neuro cases. Certain cases, such as burns, are not kept on-site, as the facility is a CVA center. The hospital has a robust team, including 24/7 respiratory therapy services. Nurses will perform their own lab draws and start IVs. Charting and documentation are performed using Meditech.
