Activity Therapist - PRN

Activity TherapistServing as a member of the interdisciplinary team by providing therapeutic activity services to adult and adolescent patients under the hospital's care for emotional or substance abuse problems.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, occupational therapy) preferred.Certification or registration preferred.Experience: One year of inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.Licensure/Certification: CPI/CPR certification required.Other: Assessment, evaluation, and interpretation skills; knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatment; flexibility; time management and organization skills; teaching or training skills helpful; understanding of, or ability to understand DSM-5 methodology; able to meet deadlines.About Our Organization:Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is located on the beautiful Ashley River near Charleston, SC.
