Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Concord, NC $140,000 – $150,000 per year Full-Time About Pyramid Healthcare Pyramid Healthcare is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health disorders. As we continue to grow in Concord, NC, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. Position Summary The Medical Provider delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This role collaborates closely with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care across all levels of treatment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct medical care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning Conduct psychiatric and medical evaluations for clients in detox and residential settings Collaborate with Program Director, Clinical Director, and clinical team to support client outcomes Coordinate care with external providers, including primary care, hospitals, and community partners Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards Respond effectively to crisis situations and support stabilization efforts Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina Minimum 1 year of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment Experience working with co-occurring disorders preferred Skills & Abilities Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment Sound judgment and crisis intervention skills Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards Why Join Pyramid Healthcare?
