Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; 6 months of outpatient experience highly desired; Start date: 11/09/2026; End date: 02/08/2027; Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients utilizing clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and modifying patient treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directives.
• Performs timely, clear, and accurate documentation in medical records, including goal writing, functional assessments, and medical necessity letters, following all applicable guidelines.
• Ensures care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and insurance approval as applicable.
• Participates in student programs by providing positive learning environments, supervision, and evaluations.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to professional development by pursuing continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Maintains licensure in good standing and adheres to state Practice Acts and regulatory guidelines.
• Contributes to organizational performance improvement initiatives by providing feedback and participating in quality improvement activities.
• Promotes patient and employee safety by following all safety protocols, including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and workplace hazard prevention.
