Job Overview Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for the treatment and management of diseases and other conditions. This position is in the Toxicology Business Unit, servicing agencies in the government criminal justice and treatment market. Sales professional driving new growth in the government market as defined by Abbott sales management. Responsibilities Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and lead generation Set up meetings with prospects to introduce our products and services Perform prospect and customer needs assessments Prepare and send quotes and proposals Coordinate and secure contracts and agreements between new clients and contracts team Support new account implementation activities within sales and operations Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products and services Attend trade shows and in-person customer visits Qualifications Bachelor's degree (±16 years) or equivalent combination of education and work experience, or Master’s degree (±18 years) Minimum 9 years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area Comprehensive knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices In-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/relationships Expert in related work group, capable of performing in a quality system environment Analytical problem solving skills with ability to evaluate various factors Strong judgment within broadly defined practices and policies Compensation Base pay range: $78,000.00 – $156,000.00 (may vary by location). Employment Details Location: United States – California (Remote). Work shift: Standard. Travel: Yes, up to 50% of the time. Medical surveillance: No. Significant work activities: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods, driving personal or company vehicle, power equipment use, keyboard use ≥50% of workday.
