Pharmacist

Pharmacist Position

Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by #/hour.

Certs/Licensure Requirements: Michigan pharmacist/controlled substance license - Required

What areas will they cover (ER, ICU, Inpt, Outpt, etc.): Inpatient pharmacy department. ER/ICU/Inpatient/Infusion center/oncology center Pharmacy supports all inpatient operations

Common Duties/Job Requirements/Skills: Compounding/order entry/order verification inpatient knowledgeable required

Experience or 'Must have' skills: competent inpatient rph/ Prefer paragon experience inpatient qualified/Pyxis experience

Pharmacy Techs: Will be working with and supervising pharmacy techs

Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): No self scheduling. There is a rotation every 3rd weekend and 7 days of call every 3 weeks Schedule will need to be followed once written

Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend

Holiday Requirements: If it's during their rotation as falls in the rotation

Is there an on-call requirement: Yes 7 nights every 3 weeks

Medication Dispensing System? How does it work: Pyxis ADC stocked for floors not med carts limits call ins

Scrubs or Dress Code Requirements: Dress casual or scrubs
