The City of New Smyrna Beach Development Services Department is seeking an Engineering Construction Inspector! Address: 214 Sams Ave, NSB FL 32168 Hourly Rate: $30.0806 Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM About The Job The Engineering Construction Inspector oversees drainage, roadway, and infrastructure projects within the City to ensure they are sufficiently inspected and tested in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes and standards, and contractual provisions. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Construction Management Technology or similar field preferred; three (3) years of experience in charge of construction management or construction inspection for utility and stormwater infrastructure projects; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
