Job DescriptionAre you passionate about men's fashion, trend forecasting, and uncovering the next great product opportunity? We're looking for a results-driven Men's Retail Buyer with strong off-price retail experience to build compelling assortments that deliver exceptional value and drive profitable sales.In this role, you'll identify emerging trends, cultivate strategic vendor partnerships, and curate assortments that resonate with today's value-conscious customer. You'll combine market insight, business acumen, and negotiation expertise to bring the right product to market at the right time and price.What You'll DoDrive the men's apparel and accessories business by building trend-right assortments that align with customer demand and company objectives.Source and negotiate product within the off-price marketplace while developing strong relationships with key vendors, brands, and manufacturers.Identify emerging fashion trends, market opportunities, and competitive insights to influence buying strategies.Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, margin results, and customer behaviors to make informed buying decisions.Collaborate closely with Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Store Operations to execute seasonal strategies and maximize performance.Manage product life cycles, recommending reorders, markdowns, and inventory actions to optimize sales and profitability.Attend markets, trade shows, vendor appointments, and industry events to discover new brands, categories, and opportunities within the men's fashion space.Monitor industry trends across sportswear, activewear, denim, fashion basics, footwear, and accessories to ensure a relevant and profitable assortment.What You Bring3-5+ years of retail buying experience, preferably within off-price, value retail, department store, or specialty apparel environments.Strong understanding of the men's apparel business, including fashion trends, brands, fit, fabrication, and customer preferences.Proven success negotiating with vendors and managing strategic supplier relationships.Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to leverage data to drive profitable assortment decisions.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with merchandise planning and reporting tools.Ability to manage multiple categories simultaneously while thriving in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for identifying opportunity and acting decisively.Willingness to travel up to 40%.EducationBachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.Why This Role MattersAs a Men's Retail Buyer, you'll directly influence the products our customers discover every day.
