We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week day-shift contract position in Craig, Colorado. The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care across multiple patient populations, including Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care patients.

This role includes mechanical ventilation management, airway care, respiratory medications, patient assessment, arterial blood gas collection, and cardiopulmonary procedures while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members.

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications according to physician orders and established clinical protocols.

• Initiate, maintain, and monitor mechanical ventilation while assessing patient respiratory status and recommending appropriate interventions.

• Perform airway management, suctioning, bag-mask ventilation, arterial blood gas draws, and other respiratory care procedures.

• Provide age-appropriate respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, emergency, and critical-care patients.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor respiratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and participate in patient-care rounds and departmental activities.

• Graduate of a CoARC-Approved Respiratory Care Program Required.

• Current NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Credential Required; RRT Credential Accepted/Preferred Based on Facility Requirements.

• Minimum 1 Year of Respiratory Therapy Experience in a Hospital Setting Required.

• BLS Certification Required Within 90 Days of Hire and NRP Certification Required Within 6 Months of Hire.

• Pulmonary Diagnostics and Cardiac Diagnostics Experience, Including EKG, Holter Monitoring, Event Monitoring, or Cardiac Stress Testing, Preferred.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide safe, skilled, and patient-centered cardiopulmonary care across a diverse inpatient population.
