We are currently hiring for a part-time MA who is willing to provide compassion to patients and develop the communities we live and operate in. This opening is for our Moore clinic. Hours are subject to change based off practice needs.Just Kids Pediatrics is a great fit for those who:Are confident in themselves to provide great medical care to kids from newborns to adolescentsTake pride in their workAre eager to learnLove to make work funPrimary Job Duties include:Provide superior customer service and care to all patientsAbility to empathize with our patients while providing quality medical careEducate our patients on all services that we offer to make sure they receive great healthcarePerform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or other providerAssist provider in exam roomsGreet and escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, & chart in EMR systemAdminister injections, run x-rays, swab, and perform other routine nursing duties as requiredGive instructions to patients as instructed by providerEnsure all related reports, labs and other information are filed and available in patients’ medical records prior to their appointmentKeep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and maintain instrumentsTake telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls, and forward calls to providers and other staffSchedule patients for any appointments as needed and audit charts to schedule well-child appointmentsSupport a team-based environment by remaining flexible with scheduling and location assignments, including floating to other clinics when needed to maintain quality patient care.All other duties as assigned by nursing directorFollow the JKP Core Values found at Education:High school diploma or GED certificateExperience:Two years of experience in a clinic or direct patient care preferred.
