What You'll Do:
- Lead patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), managing immediate post-surgical recovery
- Assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions
- Effectively communicate with surgical teams and multidisciplinary staff
- Delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members
- Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and healthcare standards
- Document patient progress and treatment accurately
- Provide education and support to patients and families during recovery
What You Need:
- Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications from the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute
- Preferred:
- Certification in clinical specialty areas
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations
