What You'll Do:

  • Lead patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), managing immediate post-surgical recovery
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions
  • Effectively communicate with surgical teams and multidisciplinary staff
  • Delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and healthcare standards
  • Document patient progress and treatment accurately
  • Provide education and support to patients and families during recovery

What You Need:

  • Required:
    • Active RN license in Louisiana
    • Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications from the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Preferred:
    • Certification in clinical specialty areas
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations
