Laboratory Chemist

The Lab Chemist is responsible for performing analysis of customer samples and production batch samples using various testing procedures.

Lab Chemist Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry testing in a laboratory, including titrations, pH measurement, and specific gravity analysis

• Conduct appearance evaluations on wholesale panels to ensure product quality standards

• Perform quality control testing on production batches and resale products.

• Perform routine hull cell testing.

• Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams on special projects, including customer conversions and other needs.

• Enter analysis data into the system and communicate findings to customers and prospects.

• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and surfaces.

• Answer phones and perform other duties as assigned.

Lab Chemist Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (required); Master’s degree preferred.

• Previous laboratory experience or internship preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe (or similar).

• Strong analytical skills
