Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical services while serving as a backfill, stepping in to ensure continuity of care for students and staff during a key transitional period.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience working in educational settings, preferably K-12
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEP processes, special education laws, and behavioral supports
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Genuine interest in supporting the needs of diverse student populations

Key Duties and Expectations:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret psychological testing results
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations on student supports
• Deliver direct counseling services and crisis interventions as needed
• Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to promote effective educational and behavioral interventions
• Document evaluations, recommendations, and service delivery in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
