Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for Med Surg patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Develop and update individualized care plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns to the multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of various levels of nursing staff, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to standards of care.
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other disciplines.

Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in Oregon or eligibility for licensure in Oregon.
- Med Surg nursing experience (prior inpatient Med Surg preferred).
- Ability to perform effectively in a hospital setting and during night shifts.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate care and supervise nursing staff as needed.
