Healthcare Description Position Summary :
The Staff Physician is responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients across a broad spectrum of general practice and emergency care. This role involves providing clinical expertise, fostering effective communication with the healthcare team, and contributing to the mission and values of Cross Road Medical Center (CRMC). The Staff Physician actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, administrative meetings, and professional development opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Clinical Care:
- Perform duties as a staff physician, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions based on clinical judgment.
- Conduct and oversee minor procedures as necessary. - Administrative Responsibilities:
- Participate in medical staff and administrative meetings.
- Assist in the development and review of clinical policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive electronic medical records. - Professional Development:
- Keep required certifications up to date.
- Attend continuing education meetings and acquire necessary continuing education credits. - Quality Assurance:
- Participate fully in CRMC's quality improvement and assurance initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical interventions and adjust care plans as needed. - Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure understanding and compliance. - Compliance:
- Adhere to all CRMC policies and procedures, including confidentiality policies.
- Support CRMC's mission and values in daily practice. Skills and Competencies: - Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and emotional stability.
- Maintains high professional and ethical standards.
- Possesses effective oral, written, and telephonic communication skills.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical record systems. Work Environment : - This position operates in a dynamic clinical environment requiring safe practices for exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
