Sales Engineer

This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who enjoys working with customers, engineering teams, and sales to develop engineered solutions. You'll play a key role in reviewing customer requirements, preparing technical quotations, supporting equipment selection, and guiding projects from initial inquiry through order handoff. This is an excellent opportunity to combine technical knowledge with commercial responsibility while supporting large industrial and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on customer specifications and application requirements. Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Support equipment selection in collaboration with Engineering and Product Management. Develop accurate pricing and proposals while ensuring customer requirements are met. Respond to customer technical inquiries and support the sales team throughout the quotation process. Participate in bid clarification meetings and customer discussions as needed. Assist with order entry documentation and project handoff to execution teams. Identify opportunities to improve quotation processes and provide market feedback. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred (equivalent technical experience will be considered). 5+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, inside sales, quotations, or industrial equipment support. Experience with pumps, rotating equipment, valves, compressors, or other engineered industrial equipment is preferred. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. What You’ll Bring Strong technical aptitude with a customer-focused mindset.
