Lab Technician

Our client, a leader in materials testing and innovation, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Materials Test Laboratory supporting research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, excellent communication skills, and a keen technical curiosity, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Henrico, VA

Pay Range: $20-$21

Shift: 8am-4pm or 7am - 3pm

What's the Job?

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative lab tests to support product development

• Learn and apply new testing methods to support materials science innovation

• Use spreadsheets to compile and analyze data accurately

• Share findings with project requesters to inform decision-making

• Collaborate with team members on larger projects to achieve common goals

What's Needed?

• High School diploma required; Associate degree or technical training preferred

• 0-2+ years of experience in lab testing or manufacturing

• Experience in paper and packaging industry is a plus

• Familiarity with papermaking and paperboard products preferred

• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
