Intensive Instructional Assistant Job ID: 5828395 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Posted: Jul 13, 2026 12:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Aug 10, 2026 Job Description The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking two full‑time Intensive Instructional Assistants (IIA) who are energetic and love working and playing with children. The IIA position’s purpose is to develop and interpret the individual needs of students with disabilities by helping to create and implement behavior and/or instructional support programs in consultation with the special educator and teachers. The assignment will be at the Burke Town School and is based on student needs. The IIA provides observable data that meet the IEP Program or EST goals of students with disabilities and targets goal‑directive services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional, and independent manner. Candidates must successfully complete the ParaPro assessment or hold a higher degree. Background check, including fingerprinting, is required upon employment.
