Position Overview CDL Transit Bus Driver – Burnsville, MN. Pay: $26.80–$28.80 per hour (Fixed Route CDL). Fixed Route CDL Split Shift. Key Responsibilities Execute daily routes and schedules with strict adherence to safety protocols and traffic regulations. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarkation. Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues promptly. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and equipment readiness. Enforce company policies, including seat‑belt use, emergency response procedures, and regulatory compliance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications 21 years of age or older. Minimum three years of driving experience, personal or professional. Valid CDL or willingness to obtain one through paid training. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Availability for day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. Eligible for DOT drug testing and medical physical (if applicable). Physical Requirements Work involves long periods of sitting, driving, and occasional manual handling. Duty includes indoor and outdoor environments; employees may be required to adapt to flexible work schedules.
