About Key Title & Escrow
Key Title & Escrow is a title and escrow company in Chattanooga serving buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and investors across Tennessee and Georgia. We handle everything from simple residential closings to complicated investor deals, and our job is to turn complicated transactions into confident closings. We're a small, close team that works hard, communicates clearly, and has each other's backs.
The Role
We're looking for an escrow team member who takes accuracy seriously and cares about getting every closing right. You'll prepare closing documents, balance files, handle disbursements, and make sure every dollar is accounted for. This role touches client funds every day, so integrity and attention to detail are non-negotiable.
What You'll Do
- Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and closing document packages
- Balance files with lenders, agents, and all parties before closing
- Coordinate with lenders to get approval and closing packages
- Verify and release wires following our fraud prevention procedures
- Handle disbursements and escrow account balancing
- Schedule and coordinate mobile notaries and remote closings
- Record documents and complete post-closing tasks
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders so everyone knows what to expect at closing
- Keep clear, accurate notes in every file
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of escrow or closing experience [adjust based on the level you want]
- Solid understanding of settlement statements, CDs, and the closing process
- Very strong attention to detail with numbers and documents
- Knowledge of wire fraud prevention and good funds requirements
- Comfortable picking up the phone and keeping clients informed
- Calm under pressure, especially on closing day
- Dependable, organized, and accountable
Nice to Have
- Experience with Qualia
- Tennessee or Georgia title agent license
- Notary commission
- Experience with investor transactions, assignments, or double closings
- Experience with post-closing and recording
