We are seeking a Certified Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our professional imaging team in North Central New Mexico. Job Description – Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
Perform Diagnostic X-Rays
Capture clear, high-quality radiographic images to assist physicians in accurate medical diagnoses and treatment planning.
Prepare and Position Patients
Provide compassionate support while preparing and positioning patients for radiologic exams, following safety and comfort protocols.
Maintain Imaging Equipment
Ensure radiology equipment is operating efficiently; report any malfunctions and assist with basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Image Management
Accurately upload and organize images in PACS systems, confirming patient identifiers and applying correct markers and documentation.
Ensure Radiation Safety
Follow all ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize exposure risks to patients, staff, and yourself.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensure & Certification
- Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Valid New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS certification (required)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience, OR
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program
Experience
- Previous experience in diagnostic imaging preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply

- Proficient in EMR/PACS systems and imaging software
- Ability to work effectively in high-volume clinical environments
