Duties: Job Summary:The Mammographer I performs specialized breast imaging services on OU Health patients to aid Providers in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of breast conditions, defects and/or diseases. This position is intended for those who are gaining experience as a Mammographer or experienced imaging professionals who wish to begin a career in Mammography. Work is typically performed in outpatient environments across OU Health locations. Job Responsibilities:-Under general supervision, performs diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider.-Ensures testing is performed safely and with the highest quality standards, maintaining a consistent focus on patient‑centric care.-Prepares patients for procedures and reviews clinical history to align with provider-ordered tests.-Responds to inquiries from patients and family members, provides clear information regarding diagnostic testing and expected result timelines.-Collaborate with team members across OU Health including Providers to provide exceptional patient care.

Education: Required Education:-Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT.-Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.

Required Certification & Licensure:- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.-ARRT(RT)(M) required within 1 year of hire.

Schedule Notes: Must be a registered Mammography Tech with a minimum of three years of experience. The position supports OUH's mobile mammography coach, which travels weekly to sites across Oklahoma. Hotel and food expenses are covered during travel weeks.
