They have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their dutiesPay Rate: $25.00 hourlyBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision and additional other voluntary benefits401k with company matchGenerous Paid Leave PolicyFree uniforms after hireDaily Pay partnerNewly renovated breakrooms - fully stocked beveragesAs a Painter, your responsibilities include:Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessaryMake on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint and/or wallpaper, etc.Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texturePaint surfaces according to instructions with various toolsApply varnish and other finishesTake and adhere to all health and safety precautionsRequirements and Skills:Proven experience as a painterExcellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply themSolid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniquesAptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)Good basic math skillsGood communication skillsManual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.Conscientious with great attention to detailHigh school diplomaValid Drivers LicenseEligible to pass a background checkMay require travel to additional worksites - mileage provided outside of normal commute to base facility
