Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time/ Overnight

Overview Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned. Position Details Location: Mercy Hospital St. Louis – Respiratory Shift: 7 pm – 7 am (3-12 hour shifts) Sign‑on bonus: Up to $10,000 Eligible for shift differentials. Education and Licensure Graduate of a CoArc‑approved Respiratory Care program. Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, meeting state licensure requirements. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care. PALS required for emergency‑room staff. Preferred Education and Experience Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) credential. Critical‑care experience preferred. Other Requirements Physical demands: push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl minimally. Equipment Used All appropriate respiratory care devices.
