Location: 3200 SE 164th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98683

Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Phlebotomist I to support a leading healthcare organization in Vancouver, WA . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

As a Phlebotomist I, you will be the first point of contact for many patients, providing exceptional customer service while collecting high-quality blood specimens for diagnostic testing. Your professionalism, accuracy, and ability to create a positive patient experience will play a vital role in supporting quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using established phlebotomy procedures

• Prepare, label, process, and package specimens for laboratory testing

• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections in accordance with established protocols

• Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation

• Ensure patient comfort by explaining collection procedures and addressing concerns

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

• Follow all laboratory safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service while protecting patient confidentiality

• Work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required

• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred

• Strong venipuncture skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Keyboard and data entry experience required

• Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification required in Washington

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call shifts as needed
