Apply now! Job Responsibilities You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and Customer relations. You must set the example. You must follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew. Handle sensitive and confidential customer information responsibly. Execute credit transactions. Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone. Work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun. Operate all equipment. Clean equipment and facility daily. Perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients, preparing product, and taking orders. Input orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Make correct monetary change. Have verbal, written and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Qualities and Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen. Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. Ability to memorize recipes and portion amounts and/or follow detailed job aids. Physical Requirements All tasks are performed while standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, crouching, squatting, reaching, and using hands continuously. Detailed requirements include: Standing: most tasks are from a standing position on ceramic tile/linoleum with work surfaces between 36\" and 48\". Walking: deliver personnel must travel between store and delivery vehicle and between the vehicle and customer's location. Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table. Lifting: bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more; items can weigh up to 50 pounds. Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough up to 12 pounds per tray, carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing. Pushing: trays on dollies may require up to 7.5 pounds force. Climbing: navigate stairs or ladder, sometimes five or more flights of stairs. Forward bending at the waist during pizza assembly; reaching up to 72\" to change oven controls. Cleaning low areas: crouching or squatting occasionally. Search or reach tasks: up, down, forward; lifting over 72\" occasionally. Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination, use of forearms and wrists, manipulate pizza peel, rolling cutter, pinch when assembling boxes. Machines, tools, equipment: use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel. Driving: deliver pizzas within designated area, deliver flyers and door hangers; valid driver's license, safe driving record, insured vehicle. Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving and couponing. Sensing Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks. Depth perception. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Far vision and night vision for driving. Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress. Meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions. Training Orientation and training provided on the job. Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
