Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting severe behavioral needs
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction and behavioral strategies to suit individual student needs
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset to work alongside fellow educators and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to a caseload of four students with significant behavioral challenges
• Implement evidence-based behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all learners
• Develop, monitor, and adjust Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including behavior specialists, therapists, and administrators
• Communicate regularly with families to share progress and partnership opportunities
• Document student progress, behavioral incidents, and interventions in accordance with established guidelines
