It offers trails for all levels of hikers and numerous waterways to explore. The role is for a registered nurse specializing in medical/surgical and telemetry care. This unit focuses on orthopedic, bariatric, and colorectal post-operative care. The nurse will join a team that typically has a patient ratio of 1:5, with a maximum of 1:7. Candidates must have experience in telemetry interpretation and IV starts. Ortho experience is strongly preferred. The ability to float between units, work weekends, and holidays as needed is required. Candidates must include a comprehensive cover sheet with all relevant information. BLS must be obtained through a recognized provider. ACLS certification is also required. The unit specializes in post-surgical care of patients who have undergone various procedures. It takes medical-surgical overflow when volume permits. The capability to monitor telemetry patients is available within the unit. Candidates should be prepared to manage a variety of medical situations, including postoperative recovery. This role may involve collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams for patient care. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in necessary nursing skills and patient management. A strong commitment to patient care and safety is essential for this role.
